SLEEPERS’ GUILT is a diversified and progressive Melodic Death Metal band from Luxembourg which has been founded in 2011. The quintets’ music persuades with heavy riffing and playfully mixes modern and contemporary metal with the roots of the genre. All songs contain modern metal without losing its origins. Aggressive, heavy and melodic tunes combined into harmony and at no time sounding obsolete.
In 2012 Sleepers’ Guilt released their first self titled 6-track EP that was quickly followed by the second 6-track EP “Road of Emptiness” in 2013, presenting Patrick Schaul for the first time as their new vocalist.
Now Sleepers’ Guilt are back promoting their first double album – “Kilesa” – that has been partially financed by crowdfunding and the Wacken Foundation. Mix and Master have been done by André Alvinzi and Tony Lindgren, both working at Fascination Street Studios, Sweden. The titletrack Kilesa has been subdivided in three parts, having a total playing time of over 30 minutes. Heavier yet more melodic than ever, Sleepers’ Guilt released “Kilesa” on 27th February 2016 and shared the stage along the road with great bands such as Amon Amarth, Iced Earth, Deadlock, Izegrim and more.
In 2017 and 2018 they played several shows and festivals, where the Metaldays in Tolmin (SI) could be considered as a highlight both times.
Currently the band is working on their second full length album, which will be released in 2020.
